What happens to CFB players eligibility if next season is canceled

The vaccine is 12 months away. Several Million people people being crammed into stadiums on a weekly basis seems like an extreme long shot.
Will the seniors be allowed to return for the 2021 season?

Given the spring precedent the NCAA just set my guess would be yes.
However how that impacts underclassmen players leaving for the NFL is another question.

You never know with the NCAA, but seems almost certain they’d be given another year of eligibility.

Eligibility will 100% be extended.

What happens to the scholarships of incoming freshmen because there is not enough room on the roster because of extended eligibility? Increase scholarship numbers?
