Does everybody get an extra year like baseball? Can small colleges afford to keep all the extra players on scholarship? It's going to be interesting to say the least.

Winning is just as fun now as it was in the decades before. The problem arises when your program is trash like vols or hawgs.

Clearly an extra year of eligibility; probably with a stipulation that classes attended this year count for the delayed season.

That'll allow graduates to train and play without attending more classes just to be enrolled. The extra time for practice is warranted, to offset the reps lost this year.

No idea what happens to the players but Id likely spend the next 9 months promoting an undefeated season.

I've watched the last 2 years of razorback football, winning only 2 games each year. Id rather sit thru that than watching these ungrateful fricks get mad at tshirts or whatever upsets their feels.

Pop the fricking bubble and give these athletes a wake up call that if they keep frickin around, their only avenue for a positive life will go away. Fk them, I bow down to nobody and nobody should bow to anyone but their creator.

There is a part of this that I agree with. Almost all of the G5 and many FCS have no business having a football program. A program like South Alabama spends 10 mil+ every year on football for nothing. No one goes to the games, no one talks about it. They would be better off just going the route of D2 where the costs are much less and maybe this will force the issue

Frick it.

Tired of athletes claiming some kind of moral high ground just because they can jump high and run fast.

Since sports has become just a platform for social justice warfare, it kind of defeats the entire purpose of sports.

I’m not saying it hasn’t been addressed at all in our country but I’ve yet to hear on sports media or read on TD how the 85 scholarship limit will pan out with red shirting all non NFL ready players and recruiting with a 2021 class. The elite spokesperson lady for the Ivy League said on “Get Up” this morning that any player that attended required practices would keep their scholarships and remain eligible as far as she knows in their league.
