Les leaving for PSU will signal the change.

It would help if we quit hiring off of the Saban tree.

Nick Saban's coaching tree looks like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree.

Fulmer went down hill and Bama hired Saban. Not an I'm depth analysis but those 2 factors jump out at me. LSU pretty much led the charge with the West teams before either of the other two but FL, UGA and Tenner were still strong collectively.

And Florida made a terrible hire.

It's only been like 5 years. People act like shifts of power have never happened before.

it's all cyclical. at the moment, the west has the best coaches. and probably will for a few years. don't see spurrier staying many more years and when he leaves, don't have a clue who socar will pull in. richt has pulled out another contract extension with his wins over florida and auburn and a probable trip to the seccg, that's not going to help georgia or the east in the long run.

tennesse is going to be interesting in a couple of years when all of their young players mature. don't know what to think about muschamp, but he has a huge, talented playground to recruit in.

Florida will not attain the status it had under Spurrier/Meyer with Muschamp...He may not make it to year 4.

TN won't be returning to its 95-02 Glory Days anytime soon..

USC can't match the level of play as the big boys of the East. It showed against Arkansas 1 week ago.

It might be 5 years before the pendulum swings.
