They arrested Person and he's going on trial?

You realize the stuff they found about Auburn was never classic pay for play. Nobody was paid during the recruiting process to come to Auburn
An assistant coach funneled money from a financial advisor to players already enrolled in school as an incentive to use this financial advisor after college. Turns out the financial advisor was working for the FBI

People want to believe that Auburn bought their entire roster now that they're good

You will start to see the FBI’s case against Person to fall apart. They got their big bang moment and now they will move on.

Wiley will be cleared to play by AU within the next 10 days. Then AU truly will have a top 10 type team.

The FBI couldn't run a one car funeral on a pretty day

You're just wrong. The feds almost never press
forward with an investigation and charges,
unless fully confident they win.
If you had your hands in the cookie jar, cooperate,
then try to cut the best deal you can get.

From all indications, Chuck Person is going to prison and Auburn basketball is going to the dance. I couldn't be happier about both..

By dance, do you mean the Final Four, or do you mean the NCAA Tournament? In NCAA Basketball the dance floor gets crowded.

It wasn't the FBI that decided to press forward on this case, it was the Federal Prosecutor from NY. He pulled the trigger on this case just as the season tipped off, because he knew it would get the most press. They also thought that others would roll on the bigger fish.
