What happened to Shea Patterson?

Obviously highly recruited (there was some weird nonsense about him going wherever his brother had a coaching gig if I recall) to Ole Miss, where he was the next big thing apparently. Transfers to Michigan after the Freeze fiasco and never really puts it together under Harbaugh. Now I'm hearing he's doing terrible in senior bowl workouts and is looking undraftable. Pretty big collapse for a guy who was talked about in recruiting circles on the same level as guys like Trevor Lawrence and Bryce Young.

Same thing I'm sure he would say Alpaca told LSU. But in the end, LSU ended up better without either of them.

He's not doing well in workouts because he didn't get a 2 sided Ole Miss/Michigan helmet.

I'm surprised Joe Milton didn't take over the starting role this year at Michigan.

It's karma for threatening to transfer if OM didn't remove the interim tag from Luke only to transfer anyway.

Wouldn't want to play for a bunch of cheaters either, so I doubt it's Karma.

He went to Michigan, and ruined his college football career. Athletic, but wildly inaccurate

eh, he wouldn't have fared any better staying at Ole Miss, probably worse honestly.

This is what is ruined his football career. He just doesn't have the tools in terms of accuracy and ability to read a defense to be a great college or NFL QB. He has the athleticism and arm strength, but he doesn't have really anything else. He's seemingly every bit as raw now as he was as a freshman. 56% completion percentage as a senior isn't ideal, and his accuracy on deep balls is pretty terrible. He's also a little on the small side at 6'1" 204, which doesn't help his cause with all his other deficiencies.

He is a head case on the field. His decision making ability is very poor. He has talent but he doesn't have the acumen to be a good player. This works in HS but not in college.

What helmet did you wear when you played in the senior bowl?
Posted on 1/23/20 at 12:36 pm to buckRogers
Overhyped just like many before him Jimmy Clausen, Brock Berlin, John David Booty, Blake Barnett, Mitch Mustain etc. “Can’t miss” recruits who missed!!

He also looked very good at one of the high school AA games.

Got proof?
Didn't think so. Ole Miss on the other hand was straight up giving out cash.

His father has not been helpful to his career. I wish we never signed the kid in hindsight.
