Butch Thompson came to his senses and left Stankville for a real college. Then he rolled into Doody Noble and Auburn proceeded to pound State's pitching staff into the ground.

Speaking of Mizzou's baseball Natty, I truly hope you guys take the opportunity while it exists only in 2018 to wheel y'alls trophy out to the mound during pre-games, or maybe 7th inning stretches, while playing The Beatles song "When I'm 64"

Pretty cool that your Natty is almost eligible for retirement benefits

SECE - 5 teams with CWS trophy
SECW - 1 team with CWS trophy

It’s LSU and the little 6 on that side.

Wasn't the first time ... won't be the last.

Point well taken - the SEC, as tough as it is in football, women's basketball, etc., ... is an absolute beast in college baseball.

This coming season is gonna be fun. There are a half dozen teams in the league capable of making Omaha.

It's what they were giving out at the time....

We watched a lot of talent go after last season. I’m excited to see what these young guns can do though, a couple of them showed some great talent last year. I’d love a rematch against Florida in Omaha.
