I was actually digging the budding Georgia Bama rivalry, but now that Bama is pretty much dead for the long haul, I lost interest.
IDGAF about Auburn or GA Tech.

Spurrier called for a bomb and it went in for a TD, making the final score, 52-14. CKS has never forgotten it.
I hated Florida then and now, but it was Kirby’s job to stop them.
UGA has been whining about this for decades.

Rarely brought up these days other than to point out Kirby was on the field for it. Don't really know what you're talking about.
Seriously, I'm on the biggest Georgia forum on the net and no one has mentioned that game even once this week.

It’s more of a general statement about Spurrier running up the score often in GA. Not that particular game.

It's Florida. And they are about to find out tomorrow.

Spurrier hated Georgia for ruining his Heisman year. #1 Florida in 1966 got buttkicked by Georgia and wiped out their goal of an undefeated season. Spurrier threw three INTs. Here's what Bill Stanfill said about that game:
All-American defensive tackle Bill Stanfill would later reference Spurrier in recounting his experiences growing up on a farm in southwest Georgia before the advent of weightlifting: "Holding pigs for my dad to castrate was quite a challenge. I can't say that helped prepare me for football, but it sure did remind me an awful lot of sacking Steve Spurrier."
