What concerns me

about this system is that a new precedent has been set. In 2007, GA was sitting at #4 in the BCS before the SEC championship. What if the media decided to politic for GA that year, saying that it didn't matter what happened in the championship game, GA was already in because they "passed the eyeball test." Bottom line is that NO ONE anywhere could say that the system is unfair if bama was left out of the championship game. But now, it seems that we have an entire nation outside of AL that sees Ok St being left out as a real travesty especially after the way they performed on Sat. It seems that in order to keep Ok St out of that game, the evidence against them needed to be so overwhelming when compared against bama that no reasonable person could put ok st in the championship. Majority of the nation does not see one bad loss as being enough when taking Ok st body of work into account. The public outcry over what appears to be a corrupt system will not cease until the games are over and changes are made

Let it go. This has been in the works for weeks but I just can't figure out why.

"They lost to Iowa st. Bama lost to LSU."......Even more reason that a conference champ should get in before a rematch. An appropriate time for a rematch in this system may come along eventually, but this was not the year. The system has become way too political and needs to change.
