If you had to pick one head coach from another sec team, instead of your own, which one would it be and why?

For instance I wouldn't want Jimbo, Malzahn, Muschamp to come to Bama. Though I think Coach O is a perfect fit for lsu I don't think he'd fit in as good at Bama.
If I had to pick one I could stand it would probably be Pruitt. I think he's a decent coach and he knows Bama.

Mullen. Don’t know why MSU didn’t hock the farm to keep him.

Pruitt would be the only other coach that would be a fit at Alabama.

I like Coach O, but LSU is where he needs to be, just like you said. The rest of the group can go kick sand, won't want any of them!

I'd take Saban and Mullen.

Jimbo is past his prime and Kirby is a dead end.

Was the most underrated while here. Saban speaks for himself of course. L

I'd take Dan Mullen. He's the best coach to never win a division. He's the best coach who's never beaten a 10 win P5 opponent. He's by far the best coach to be 0-3 against Kirby Smart.

The Florida posters have won me over. Winning in Jacksonville is the sign of an inferior coach. When you really crunch the numbers and think deeply about it Dan Mullen is far better than Kirby Smart. Don't let the simpletons who look at things like the scoreboard trick you.

Let's all quit acting like Kirby and Mullen are questionable. Those two are going to be in the SEC CG for the next 6 years in a row.

Tried that. Told him to name his price. He wanted out.

No idea of why this love affair exist between Bama folks and Pruitt.

Not really. Dabo is by far the worst in game coach in college football currently. He is stupid. He just cheats to get good recruits in a very weak conference.

I would take Kirby. Us Bama fans love to needle him, but I think he's just been short of the stellar QB. The man knows defense and is superb recruiter and definitely knows his way around T town.

He would never leave UGA though for another SEC team. So I look out west at what Cristobal is doing at Oregon. He was great offensive coach at Bama and top recruiter. He played at Miami, knows that state and the SEC, so he would definitely come back South imo for right job.

Saban
Smart
Mullen

Saban obviously is the choice here but Kirby or Mullen could win a natty at LSU with our resources. frick Stoops and Jimbo could win it all at LSU too. Lee’s dumbass did

Saban and Mullen for me as well.

Kirby I'd be lukewarm happy to get if Oeaux wasn't our coach.

THIS!! This is how you TROLL! Subtlety is such a lost art.

As for the OP's question...Saban. It's not far from Athens to Lake Burton. Seems like a natural fit.
