My hometown is Nashville. There has been a long rivalry with Memphis. They hate us for landing the Titans and for being more affluent. And that is just for starters. On the other hand, we love traveling to Chattanooga or Gatlnburg for a little rest and relaxation.

I would be fascinated to find out who your rival city is and why?

City? None. School?
Tri-West.
Frickers always cheat in sports.
Cost me 3rd place in a track meet, and a sweep of an event by my town

Probably Columbus. They seem to be getting the hotels and the retail Starkville should be getting. But when the crime of Columbus happens, that's when a kind of told you so happens to where they should've been in Starkville in the first place

Would think it would be more mutually beneficial, pretty stark contrasts in the cities themseleves but seem to balance each other and make the state better as a whole.

Is Nashville really more affluent, going as a kid to both obviously they have changed since especially some Memphis money moving to Southaven. But stayed in Memphis for 3 days for a wedding couple weeks ago, and went to a Preds game seems kind of the same financial dynamic its always been Nashville more hustle and bustle especially with tech, and Memphis old south generational money that eats at the same private club as my great grandfather did.

St Louis and Chicago.

Kansas City should look to Omaha as a regional rival.

Starkvegas is actually bigger than C-Bus now so that trend should start to change to Starkvegas’s favor over Columbus in the future. But really they are so close together that anything good that happens in those two cities plus West Point benefits all of the Golden Triangle area.
