What channel used to host the SEC baseball game of the week in the 1990s?

Back when there was one game per week on television, what channel was it? Pretty sure Dave Baker (or one of the Daves) was the lead commentator. Amazing thinking that that was once normal. One SEC baseball game a week and not all football games were available.

Could be wrong but I am thinking it was an 11:00 AM games on one of the Turner owned channels. Was it what turned into TBS? But, I think the multiple Daves were there from the get go.

It could have been. I know it was an 11 am kick. I thought it was JP but I may be wrong on that.

I could not have been beacause I was in Dallas at the time.
I do not believe they had Jefferson-Pilot at the time on any channel in Texas

No, that was JPS. I know exactly where I was when that happened around 3:17 p.m.

Then I may be wrong

I remember I was in Dallas at the time of the game on business for the weekend

I didn't tune in until after halftime.
I was sure it was on ESPN. The time sounds correct

I still remember Dave Neal's call.

"As time expires lets it fly. Oh my goodness! Touchdown LSU! They win the game. They win the football game. The most shocking, improbable, unbelievable sequence of events. LSU will go home with the victory, 33-30, as Kentucky fans tear down a goalpost. Let's go in with Dave Baker."

Kentucky had scored right before with the fat guy at QB.
I do not remember if that was the only play after the kickoff or if we had one more but LSU scored pretty much right after they got the ball

Two of my most entertaining LSU games were LSU UK football games

The other one was an OT loss in 2007 but it was one hell of a game and we won the NC that year anyway

UK kicker Taylor Begley made like a 33-yard FG with :11 seconds. KO returned to the LSU 11. False start. with :09 left. Then, a 19-yard pass from Randall to Clayton and a timeout with :02 left at the LSU 25. Then, Dash Right 93 Berlin.

I have a PDF of an old LSU baseball media guide, and there is a list of television appearances. The channels listed for 90's regular season games are SportSouth/Fox Sport South, HSE, Prime, College Sports Southeast, Jumbo Sports, and Guaranty Sports Network.

LSU only played on TV three times in 1995. Crazy to think about.

Strange to read a thread with BASEBALL in the title, and see the majority of the posts about football.
