What can never be taken away

I was there last night to witness the nets being cut down. I am not a season holder but make several games a year(depending on my work schedule). I am middle aged and this is the only the second time I have been in person to see the clinching title game. No matter what happens, this group of kids will have a memory that many young kids dream of. They went into this season with a purpose to play for a fallen teammate. To hear the chants of "Forty-four, Forty-Four" last night and watch Wayde Sims dad cut down a piece of the net is what true dedication is about. A good kid lost his life and his closest friends fulfilled a dream for him. The ride was awesome. The cast of characters in this action film was so much fun to watch. The have fun and really care for each other. When one goes down, another steps up. The next act is yet to unfold. Who knows what happens when the curtain opens for the next act but I can assure you, Will Wade or no Will Wade, We Coming!
