I wouldn't exactly call DJ Hall average, at least for a college player. Wasn't he 1st team all-SEC more than once?

ETA: but that withstanding, yes he did enjoy playing the Vols

A good one for LSU would be Terrence Toliver in 2010 against A&M. Had 5 rec for 112 yards and 3 TDs. Going into the game he had 36 rec for 467 yards and 2 TDs on the season.

Kevin Norwood surprisingly did what he wanted against Tyrann Mathieu in on 1/9/12. One has struggle to stay in the NFL while the other has made many millions, so I guess Norwood won the game and Mathieu won overall.

The thread is asking for average players. JJ was a favorite to win the Heisman wasn't he?

That's a good one. But I wouldn't say he did what he wanted against TM, I'd say AJ was throwing darts. Take that pic, what else could TM do? In great position, just great ball placement. AJ was money in that game. I don't care how great a DB is and how avg a WR is, if the qb puts ball in perfect spot it cant be defended. That's what AJ did that night...f'n bastard

Foster Moreau dominated Myles Garrett on the line; to the point where Garrett resorted to choking him.

Everyone remembers TJ Yeldon catching the screen against LSU in November 2012, but it was actually Norwood that caught every pass on the drive until that point. He had 3 catches for 44 yards and just missed a touchdown on the play before the screen.
