I think OSU may be in trouble. They have been able to beat both Ou and Texas over some blue chip defensive recruits in Texas using the often true phrase: Big 12 doesn’t play defense.
I think the state of Texas in the next 5 years will shore up its border and OSU won’t get the blue chips its been getting in Texas
Think about the money too. They were just able to convince the top HS QB in Texas to forego his Sr season and move to Columbus early on the promise of close to $1 mil in NIL money. That’s a pitch that will always be attractive.

This ^^^...I bet the Ohio State powers that be have given an earful to the conference commissioner if in fact the rumors are true and they turned away OU.
They just lost any foothold they had in Texas recruiting..
