I would hate to be a basketball school. It’s a giant consolation prize. We suck so much at football that we’ve given up on it. Football is THE sport. Basketball has always and will always be second fiddle.

I hate that SC sucks so bad at basketball. But that big 12 vs sec match-up yesterday makes me sad to actually see how far behind we are.

Loser mentality. Football is king but its great to have a decent team after football season is over. And March Madness, though it doesn’t always crown the best team, is the most entertaining postseason in any sport. Much better than the CFP

I don’t really care that much about basketball. I care a lot about football. Would it be nice to have a good basketball team? Sure. But I don’t feel stressed about it in the least.
