I did not see roughing the QB on the call against the Viles, unless something was said I could not hear.Terrible call. I saw some phantom PI calls too and blatant holding that was NOT called.

Pre game when I saw Hubert Owens crew trotting out there I said it's going to be a long game this bunch is flag happy, and I was not disappointed. The game could not get in any rhythm because of all the penalties.

It isnt a conspiracy any more- No, its just protect Alabama at all costs at this point, which i can understand. It was still funny that Alabama had to be protected in its home stadium, against Tennessee! Lol

I enjoy the fact that it takes at minimum 2 seconds to set up and spike the ball, but only 1 second to run a completed out route.

That shite was prettt funny. The Guarantano getting his helmet beat right off his head was my favorite no call though, lol.

It’s a problem in all conferences. I said this in another post there needs to be national officiating crews not conference. College football can afford it.

The scary part is SEC refs aren’t even the worst in the country. PAC refs are

The Ole Miss-Cal game was a testament to this.

Back when Les Miles was LSU's HC, his second year, talking to boosters in the Spring, he said while at Okie St. he would talk to the League office twice a year, once in the Spring to go over any new rules, then in Jan. to go over the previous season's officiating in general.Since coming to the SEC, he is sending in multiple complaints / video of plays each week. Sometimes as many as 10 - 14 calls a week. Nothing has changed. This new weekly transparency policy is a joke. The Leagues picks which calls to review for ts public explanation.

Nah. It was a great day for the SEC.

They sealed wins for 2 of the big 3 teams, and Matt Austin got to get on TV again to tell you what you saw wasn't real.

I'd say they are on track, still....

Yeah, what was the deal with the 1-second play. The clock clearly never started on time and was never noticed or adjusted by the refs. Never seen that before.

Also, the refs threw 3 flags on Tennessee on one play. Don't recall ever seeing that before other than like a fight with unsportsmanlike penalties stacked up.

Nobody did because that wasn't the penalty.

It was bad.

I looked at a few games and it was laughable at times.

The UF player holding the SC guy was nuts. And the official in the booth says it was the right call because the USC back didn’t try to get off by pulling what would be away from the play

The RT being offsides was the biggest "miss" on that play.

The hold was really irrelevant as the play should have been blown dead, but SEC...

It’s bad everywhere. I think when you have conference officiating there is or can be a tendency to protect the better team. Not saying Bama or Clemson or Ohio State etc.. always gets the calls but if there is a questionable call people are going to be critical and question integrity of the conference . Just go to national crews

The poor officiating does need to be cleaned up because it is getting to the point of having a negative effect on the quality of the sport. This is true in the NFL also. Either a better training system or a simplification of the rules maybe?
