and taking initiative to do something about it. I'm not even sure you can ever have the complete college experience without protesting something. Anyway, if you always take the initiative to do a thing, you will be successful in life.

I'm not exactly sure how I feel on the situation. On one hand, as you said, it's nice to have convictions and want to make change.
On the other, this reeks of today's social media culture where young people think they are so important and that whatever "movement" or "challenge" they get involved in is some life-altering thing, and of course it failed miserably. Not to mention no change was ever going to come from a protest in this situation. Basically, "I don't agree with this situation [my coach cheating and being suspended, which makes sense to everyone else outside of BR], I know..I'll PROTEST. Not only that..we'll MARCH!!! That will enact change for sure".

I agree with dawg on this one I mean we’re protesting a sporting event of sorts. This is truly insignificant regardless of outcome. This country protest any and everything. It’s A protest lost in a sea of protest.

Agreed. It’s so easy to ridicule. Much harder to stand up publicly for your viewpoint.

Agreed. He's out there showing the administration that he doesn't agree with their actions, meanwhile a bunch of internet tough guys are photoshopping pictures of him and creating memes.
