These athletic administrators are getting ready for a massive shortfall when the boosters don't re-up for donations because they don't want to watch protesters play football, or any other sport. Ain't nobody paying $20k for a skybox to watch people tear down statues

WTF are you talking about?

I've watched a lot of CFB in my life, but I've never seen any CFB Team take down a Statue after the Ref sets the ball & winds his arm indicating that the ball is ready for play

On what Planet have you been watching CFB?

Any fan that wants to levy backlash over what another adult does in his free time that is "legal" and wants to control another adult's moral compass is a piece of shite fan that CFB doesn't need, there are plenty of Fans to take that person's ticket, in plain English frick them and the horse they rode in on

I wonder why an a-hole is more concerned about a statue erected to honor a treasonous traitorous cowardly loser racist arse dead confederate more than he is concerned with a living citizen that has the guts to right a WRONG from a previous Era, that also plays CFB at a high level FOR HIS FAVORITE TEAM and provides said a-hole with a high level of entertainment?

I agree. Same thing with online education/teacher unions, etc. This is an opportunity for real reform for I think many are missing the boat.

Is this what you call it? Choosing to spend money the way someone pleases is levying a backlash if a conservative does it, but it is fine when the left protests against someone and hurts them financially.

There is no need for personal insults because we disagree politically, and this puts you in a small minority of people who lash out like a child when they can't have their way.

I think people can see what is going on and make their own decisions how they would like to spend their money without giving a shite if some loser like you calls them a racist.

Why would they get any backlash?

I guess you didn’t understand the OP. They used the cover of COVID to axe programs they probably didn’t want all along without having to endure the backlash they NORMALLY WOULD HAVE RECEIVED

This is an a-hole mentality dude, sorry that you don't have any real friends to tell you that you think like an a-hole

The players show up for the games in shape and ready to play at a high level, they condition like hell in the off-season

The CFB Game has improved by leaps & bounds over the last 30 years

ON ALL ACCOUNTS THE PLAYERS HAVE FULFILLED WHAT THEY OWE YOU BASED ON YOUR TICKET PURCHASE

Your ticket purchase doesn't give you control over the Player's private lives and political opinions, your issue is that you are a mentally fragile a-hole that thinks a Ticket that entitles you to enjoy a Game somehow entitles you to control "more" because that's the way it's always been - Athletes staying silent about Social Injustices

If anything you should be happy seeing the 1st Amendment at work and be happy knowing that our Democracy is working like it should

Your baseline is fricked up to the extent that you feel that a Ticket price entitles you to more than being entertained by a CFB Game, you think that ticket price guarantees you silence from a certain segment of Society so the reason that you are wrong is that your baseline ideology is flawed or just plain wrong

You're the one being childish expecting that a Ticket purchase somehow entitles you to have the players agree to your version of politics

When I go see a Movie, I could give a Rat's arse about the Politics of the Actors on the Big Screen, I bought a Ticket to enjoy the Movie, that's all I expect, even when the Actor is a right wing zealot like a Jon Voight or James Woods, all I care about is what they put on the screen

So why is it that you are so worried about what these Athletes do when they are away from the Field?

You gotta link for this theory?

BTW,it look like they cut those sports in compliance with title IX.I still don't get
the "outrage" angle and who are all these people that are "outraged" at sports being cut?

BTW,how do you know Stanford won't bring these sports back when things get back to
normal?
