Off-topic from baseball, but it's about Hud. Is it really a forgone conclusion that he goes to State if Mullen is gone for whatever reason after this year?

Ha, that's cute. The whole James Meredith thing wasn't because OM opened their door to him. They had no choice and even the Governor (an OM grad) fought it.

Seems Iike it but who knows. I doubt Mullen gets fired this season and unless Dak loses a foot before '14 I think 8-9 wins is prob gonna be a lock for that season. Hud is going to win 10+ games this year which will make him a big commodity so the timing just isn't right save for Stricklin making a ballsy move by pushing Dan to take over some mid level job. Kinda like Trent Johnson for Johnny Jones.
