week one for the 2018 college football season looks horrible

possibly one of the worst opening weekends for CFB in awhile

Auburn Vs Washington (ATL) - only promising matchup in the SEC
Alabama Vs Louisville (Orlando) - No one cares
LSU Vs Miami (FL) - Meh
Ole Miss Vs Texas Tech (TX) -
Tennessee Vs West Virginia (NC) -
Non SEC
FSU Vs Virginia Tech - Might be good I like what Fuente is doing with Virginia Tech don't be surprised if they win the ACC next season
Michigan Vs Notre Dame - meh
SEC
Auburn Vs Washington (ATL) - only promising matchup in the SEC
Alabama Vs Louisville (Orlando) - No one cares
LSU Vs Miami (FL) - Meh
Ole Miss Vs Texas Tech (TX) -
Tennessee Vs West Virginia (NC) -

MIchigan-ND and LSU-Miami look entertaining. Auburn-UW should be decent. Rest looks meh now but will be the greatest games ever coming off the long hibernation from Jan 8th.

Auburn vs Washington looks like the third best game on that list.

Alabama vs Louisville: Saban vs Petrino. Bama's defense against Lamar Jackson (if he comes back)
LSU vs Miami: Miami will be a preseason top 10 team and LSU will be up there too. 2 great defenses
Ole Miss vs Texas Tech: Points... lots of points
Tennessee vs West Virginia: will be entertaining based off of the fanbases alone
Auburn vs Washington: if anything this game might be the most boring. Washington isn't very good against teams that are more athletic than them. AU wins by 2+ scores
FSU vs Va Tech: healthy FSU QB under Taggart against Fuente.
Michigan vs Notre Dame: both will be top 15 with great defenses
Just because the opening games aren't as good as this season doesn't make them bad.

I guess the downside of LSU beating Auburn every year in Baton Rouge is having to deal with these melt threads. Always some sort of trade-off..
