Week 4 SEC Games - Level of Interest

Planning the weekend. Here are my "level of interest" games in order;
#1a - Auburn @ Texas A&M (3:30 pm CBS)
From a pure SEC standpoint, if you could only choose one other than your team then this is the game to watch for the weekend. Should be a really good one.
#1b -Notre Dame @ Georgia (8:00 pm CBS)
Primetime game with a lot of bragging rights on the line. Hopefully Georgia shuts up the Golden Domers and pundits around the country with a convincing win.
#3 Tennessee @ Florida (12:00 pm ESPN)
Strangely enough, this ranks up there because of the rivalry aspect. I can see some craziness unfolding between these two. Going to be entertaining I think.
#4 LSU @ Vanderbilt (12:00 pm SECN)
Homer call. Plain and simple. I have a feeling the 'Dores are going to make my life miserable for at least three quarters. Hoping I am wrong.
#5 Southern Miss @ Alabama (12:00 pm ESPN2)
Another tune-up game for Bama. The Golden Eagles are a tough out no matter who they play. This should be some good football.
#6 - Kentucky @ Mississippi State (4:00 pm SECN)
Heartbreaking loss for Kentucky last week may make this somewhat entertaining. Other than that, I got nothing.
#7a - California @ Ole Miss (12:00 pm ESNPU)
#7b - South Carolina @ Missouri (4:00 pm SECN)
#7c - San Jose St. @ Arkansas (7:30 pm SECN)
Much respect to my SEC Brethren, but any of those three games is going to be brutal to watch. That is going to be a "No dog for me" on all of them.

If Garrett Shrader starts, fans will get a good look at what Mississippi State will do offensively for the next 3 years barring a JoMo early exit.

I'm interested in the Tenn/UF game to get another look at the UF QB and see what he can do through out an entire game.

Good list but for me Georgia-ND is clearly the top draw.

Stinks that I’ll be getting home from our game only in time to see the second half of Georgia’s game

Finally some decent games to watch.

In all honesty those should be three interesting games if only because all feature a team fighting like crazy to hold onto a shot at a bowl game. I know, it sounds odd to say that in week 4 but the schedule is about to get spooky, wins are vital now.

I take my plane in and out but getting to the airport after the game is a bear

South Carolina @ Missouri (4:00 pm SECN)
This is a huge game for both teams for different reasons. Carolina has the hardest schedule in the East and Mizzou has the easiest. Mizzou was hoping for a 10 win (or better) season, whereas Carolina was probably looking at 8 wins tops. With both of them losing to teams they were easily favored to beat in week 1, this game is a must win for both. If Mizzou loses, they are probably looking at 8-4 or worse. If South Carolina loses, they are probably looking at 6-6 or worse.
Mizzou's SEC West opponents:
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Caroina's SEC West opponents:
Bama
Texas A&M

1. SC vs Missouri
2. Notre Dame vs Georgia
3. Auburn vs A&M
4. Tennessee vs Florida
5. Kentucky vs Miss. State
6. Cal vs Ole Miss
7. LSU vs Vanderbilt
8. Alabama vs Southern Miss
9. Arkansas vs San Jose State
Not much interest outside the top 4 for me this week.

I would drop the LSU vs Vandy game below all of the games but Bama and Arkansas. South Carolina vs Missouri and Kentucky vs state would be a tie for 2nd behind Auburn vs A&M . The losers of those games will finish with a disappointing season. Plus I have money on the under for season wins for South Carolina and State. Both games should produce some good melts.
