Third Saturday in September has been relegated to an afterthought due to VOLS ineptitude

Cal at Ole Miss....you'd think they'd have a 3PM kickoff for the left coasties....
and we have 4 games at 1100....
Sankey, you need to get off your dead arse!!!!!!!

Week 1 of a possible three consecutive weeks for Auburn on CBS.
Next week, CBS is going to have a difficult choice for the September 28 pick:
Mississippi State at Auburn
Ole Miss at Alabama
Texas A&M at Arkansas
LSU at Vanderbilt
The Aggies vs. Piggies in Dallas looks pretty weak right now with A&M losing at Clemson and Arkansas already locking up last place in the West..... Ole Miss at Alabama will be a blood bath but could still bring in decent ratings. My guess is CBS will wait to see the ratings for this week's likely blood bath of Bama at South Carolina to decide if its worth picking the Bama game again.
Mississippi State at Auburn should be a competitive match-up between two Top 25 teams. But does CBS really want to air Auburn three weeks in a row? Because the next week is October 5th...
OCTOBER 5th
In two weeks, CBS has to pick from the following:
Auburn at Florida
Georgia at Tennessee
Vanderbilt at Ole Miss
These are literally the only three options. I see no way Auburn vs. Florida gets passed over unless Auburn loses to A&M and Florida loses to Kentucky and/or Tennessee. Even still, its likely to be picked.

Maybe I’m in the minority but something needs to be done about these September midday games. It is entirely too hot for that. These games need to be moved to 6PM.

It seems like some teams get night games more often than others.
For example - 3 of LSU's first 4 games are at night.
Meanwhile - 3 of the first 4 for Ole Miss are day games.

We have the opposite of the Big 10's problem. They struggle with November night games because its freezing. We can't deal with September day games

Actually feel bad for Tennessee on the East side of the stadium all day in the sun.

Yeah, because CBS has the prime time game. Same thing happens when they do the Bama-LSU game at night. They want all the eyes on the CBS broadcast. Nobody is going to watch the Arky San Jose St game anyway.

Alabama has had one out-of-conference home game kick off at night since 2014 - the Colorado St game in 2017.
LSU has had 12 in that span and all 12 have kicked off at night.

Damn, never thought this game would be relegated to the noon slot.
Sad times for the Gators and Vols.

It was a noon SEC Network game as recently as 2014.

That seems extremely unfair to the players and fans.
