Don’t remember making this post. I started watching Ken Burns Civil War documentary and started drinking around episode 3. I knew better than to watch it....it’s like I always forget the outcome and expect the South to win and then go into a massive downward spiral when they don’t. I secluded myself in my study and drank heavily while engaging in morbid reflection about the “what if’s” surrounding the war. Basically the same thing that happens after an Auburn loss.

I also have a weird newfound hate for the Dawgs. I used to like them, but it's hard to respect something you beat the shite out of on a regular basis.

Not an issue for Auburn, that’s for sure. The last season where Auburn didn’t lose to Georgia was 2013. I definitely understand why they hate Georgia.

UGA is definitely in that mix. LSU football has won 3 titles in what, 20 years, with 3 different coaches??? With some longevity in coaching LSU Football would have been a dynasty on par with any in that time frame. Even without it the program is impressive.....losing to Bama just makes it look badder than it is....and everyone loses to Bama.

As much as I hate it, we aren't in the mix. We stand at the top of that mountain alone. No athletic program in the country even comes remotely close to underachieving like Georgia has. There is absolutely no reason for this not to be a top 5 football program, top 10 baseball program, and top 30 basketball program.

I agree completely. Metro Atlanta alone places UGA in a unique position in the south for home grown recruits in all sports...unfortunately Atlanta also has active alumni clubs from all of the SEC, ACC, Big 10 and 12. Couple that with no real pressure from an instate rival like Florida, Alabama and Auburn all have which makes them all better and the demand for excellence just ain't what it should be.

Lots of good folk have walked the halls in Athens including some of my family members. I keep the animus to Halloween weekend and even then, to a dull roar. I have had a lot of fun partying with many Georgia fans.
I have also seen it get ugly between UF and UGa fans and it ain't pretty. I much prefer to get along.

From my experiences at the WLOCP, if you want to have a good time drinking and partying with your own fan base or the other team's fan base, you will. If you're looking to fight anything that moves like a jackass, you'll find that too.

The feeling is mutual after the way LSU fans have acted like asshats the last two years. Still like the ones I know if real life since they don't act the same way but you guys on here make Tennessee fans seem smart and reasonable.
