We really need a Pete Carroll dynasty out west to arise again just for diversity sake.

There’s no threat anymore in the big ten, acc, or big 12.

Championships are won east of the Mississippi and south of the Ohio, and as much as I love it I want some diversity in the opponent.

It's a broken sport. Boring and predictable. Same thing every year.

Did it impact the course of the season in any appreciable way?

ESPN needs it for advertising dollars more than we need it.

Hopefully Lincoln and Mario can turn it around. It would do wonders for CFB.

Quite possibly. Regardless, it doesnt erase the joy the fans had that night

Feel like if Utah gets over their G5 hump, they're it.

Odd to say this, but they seem like one of the few Pac12 teams to have an increasing passion for the sport. The other schools are bleeding fans and interest. Football still thrives in the west, but it is in small western states, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota; states too small ever to be relevant

STINkin linkin ain’t gonna gonna do it......assistant coaches are already bailing,,,Cain to LSU....rumors are it is about to get ugly at USC with lots of coaches STInkin brought over bailing....they don’t like: 1 his aloofness, 2 that he is grossly overpaid with a free house on campus and they get squat and have to live 2 hours away.....

They have better fan support than USC which is declining.

The West coast doesn't care a bout college sports as they use to. They are more into the pro sports.

Not larger. Not yet, but the passion is there along with BYU. Wasn’t BYU 5-0 against the Pac12?
