Great moment that any program would be proud of, no doubt. I remember that game, and everyone at our house was pulling for Miss St. big time. It was like Bama was playing the freaking game, I was invested big time!!! On a sour note, it's shame that Miss St. team didn't closed-the-deal next game, but at least national title stayed within SEC. What an awesome SEC showing in women's final 4, Miss St. & South Carolina represented SEC well...

The SEC was at its best when we were at the peak of the “SEC!” chant. It was like we were all one team and our competition was all the other conferences who didn’t seem to care as much. Then LSU 2011 happened and we know longer have that United States of The SEC type mentality. What I enjoyed most about the S-E-C chant is how much it pissed off the other conferences. Our slogan remains true. It just means more.
