I said this in another thread - we lost to Jacksonville (a Pioneer League school who doesn't award athletic scholarships) a few years ago and still won the SEC.

Women's basketball is the equivalent of being in the 10th grade but still playing on the JV squad in highschool football. No one gives a frick.

Exactly. And Illinois State won 28 games last season, they aren't a team to take lightly. You'll always have a few games like this early in the season.

That may be true, but UF was still talented and expected to be good. USC got picked in the bottom few teams by the preseason polls.

That’s standard among the bigger programs. They have entire 9th grade teams, and most 10th graders play JV.

Not as long as UConn is such a dynasty. In the tournament anyway.

We love all of our athletic programs equally.
Unlike the school to the north that enjoys just football.
