Yep, McElwain was already in obvious decline but that bullshite about death threats against his players was the last nail in the coffin. Even if it's true, that's not the kind of thing mention in passing during an interview. He probably knew it was a huge mistake as soon as it came out of his mouth.

I think he was trying to give his kids some motivation, but it may just have backfired. Beat down coming to the overgrown lizards in 2 days

We are 6-2 against you in the last eight games, Nancy . You haven’t had a functioning offense since 2010. You barely ... miraculously beat Tennessee. Your Coach makes people queasy just to look at . Every week he degrades your brand .You have the third best program in your own state . I completely understand why you have a deep primal need to deflect by giving Alabama a reach- around . I really do .

Florida and LSU had always been about Football. Hard nosed physical... but clean and respectful. Right until Last year’s crap. Both sides acted poorly. Time to move on. Let shark fricker go, hopefully disgraceful Alleva follows and everyone can move on.

Only 4 more years till we take the lead back! Be thankful your best ever era coincided with our worst as that's the only think keeping it from being a 5 or 6 game LSU lead.
