Aggie NC rings had 30 years of wear on them when that game was played.

Yeah, but our Cotton Bowl Champ rings from kicking your arse were mint condition.

One of the forgotten sidebars of the game was a Texas DB Fred Steinmark was diagnosed with bone cancer a couple days after the game and had his leg amputated before the cotton bowl.

Gas stations had attendants that pumped you gas for you. They saw the Texas plates and walked back inside.

Yep and unfortunately an undefeated BAMA team ends up getting that Nebraska team in the Orange bowl. Oklahoma gets an Auburn team in the Sugar. Both went badly for the SEC.

Absolutely. I didn't get to go to the Orange Bowl but remember watching it and Jim Simpson or Bud Wilkinson on NBC said something to the effect "the Bama players can't even get a hand on Rodgers much less bring him down". The top 2 SEC teams had played the top 2 Big 8 teams and got embarrassed.

Good help is so hard to find. We send our oil to you and ask you unskilled laborers to do just ONE THING.....
