Don't understand the entertainment value of Houston, Miami or USC. The rest look good.

This is one of my issues with us- we aren't even particularly entertaining (at least not yet)- no butt fumbles, no tossing the ball 20 foot backwards accidentally, no defenders knocking each other out blocking each other. NOTHING but blah.

Yeah... these make no sense for sure

Houston

Will likely dominate teams that don't grossly out-talent them (Oklahoma)... Score lots of points and the QB will have a ton of buzz/hype one would guess. Might not be the best opponents, but it shouldn't be boring.

Alabama is always the most-watched and has several games in the top 10 tv ratings. Alabama not being #1 is ridiculous.

My two cents...

Watchability helps the ratings but not vice versa. Bamas rating are in large part due to all the band wagon fans that have jumped on the bama train the last 10 years. Watchability is more due to players like Tua who provide great entertainment value.

Disagree, don't think most people that are watching are fans.

It's mostly people who watch because of the brand and to see if anyone can challenge/beat Alabama.
But even Alabama's scrub games get better tv ratings than some P5 vs P5.

I would imagine a UT game is great entertainment for most everyone except UT fans

USC. Are they waiting to see a train wreck?

I don't see how a neutral person could find UGA all that entertaining. Grind it out and play basic defense (most of the time) is not a recipe for excitement.

The rational is solid but the list is a little shaky. 1 & 2 are correct. Bama should be higher. So should clemson. UGA being at 3 seems mostly due to the drama factor of being up for all but 64 seconds in the last 2 championship games and still losing. Whatever.

They should add the meaninglessness factor. Pac 12 and non-Clemson ACC teams have that because every game means just a little less so it's less compelling.

USC, Houston, and Miami? Who willingly wants to watch those teams?

The only reason anyone wants to watch Washington State is because of Mike Leach.

This is really an awful list. In what universe is Auburn with a brand new QB completing something like 40% of his passes more entertaining than Alabama (when they play a real team)?

And as much as I love Jalen, go look at the box score and then watch the highlights. In terms of entertainment value, it's the most underwhelming it could possibly be for 6 TD's, 300+ passing and 170+ rushing yards. If Kyler Murray or Johnathan Football had those same numbers, the highlights would have been 10X more entertaining.
