I get it we don't want those hits in football. That said Grant saw it and lowered into it. Not saying it is his fault he had a choice of lowering head in or taking it in chest.

Honestly I don't see path forward for kickoff long-term.

My memory of that play was the play was basically over and everyone but the lsu player had slowed down...

It was a pretty dirty hit. As soon as I saw it I knew he was gonna be ejected. Glad he was.

Might be fair

Again I am not advocating for the hit just seeing replay didn't think it was blind side

Kid had a lot of frustration built up from the Fullback position being removed from the offense.

Y’all would be crying bloody murder if Bama did this to you guys

By the way, Grant lowered his head to protect himself. The play was over and if he didn’t lower his head it could have paralyzed him.

Instead, he got a major concussion.

Agree 100%. I am a die hard LSU fan, saw my first game in 1970 as a kid when LSU played Ole Miss (Archie Who game). As soon as I saw the play, I was like Carters azz needs to be tossed. I am glad the officials did so.

If there is a play they are trying to take out of football, that is it.

He should have been thrown out by rule.

Not sure about dirty.

Some of these hits are instinctive.

It will take time to eliminate most of these hits.

Was a dirty hit. They did no replay the video in the dome. Watched after and for sure lead with his helmet.

Tory got his money's worth on special teams, that's for sure.

He blew up a kid from Alabama on KO so bad that the kid ended up tackling the returner

Hope he feels the same when he can't remember his name when he is 50.

What comes around, goes around.
