Washington Post: Auburn leads college football in dysfunction

quote:
There are college football programs seemingly doomed to oversell and underproduce on at least a semiregular basis (think Miami and Texas A&M) much more often than Auburn.
There are schools especially gifted at generating some extra schadenfreude among rival fans and even those without a horse in the race (Texas and Nebraska fit here, as does any time Notre Dame is down), far more so than the Tigers.

And there are surely places home to vastly more hopeless programs than the one playing on the Plains.
Yet when it comes to utter dysfunction, Auburn might be in a class by itself.

Is the author of this piece just discovering college football for the first time? This is known. Water is wet; the sky is blue; Auburn is a dysfunctional mess. These are tautologies.

Kiffin is still going to Auburn

Washington Post is a POS rag. There is a leftist political agenda to every article. No truth.

You are sad that Kiffin might straighten things out. Best case for anyone is to follow a dysfunctional group, you then have free reign.

Wapo wrong again
UF is in much worse shape
Auburn can easily bounce back, especially if they hire Rhule, Freeze or Primetime.
Florida is never coming back

Amazon-backed TJ Finley not traveling with the team to Miss State game, then Bezo’s paper trashes Auburn. Hmmmm.

I envision Kiffin getting a raise.....

Kiffen wouldn’t put up with the wealthy boosters telling him how to do things. He is very stubborn to start with and probably wouldn’t be a good mix at auburn.Besides he is waiting on Saben to retire and take over Bama. He has learned patients since he left Tennessee.

They are in the same division as Aggy, so for someone to make this claim about them is very telling ...

au back to what? They've finished better than 8-4 five times in the last 16 years. Yes, Kiffin can get them back to 8-4 but he isnt going to that dumpster fire.
