So pretty stupid to complain about refs on missed calls when your team has 3 to 9

Just admit Hogs needed the refs to keep them in the game

Aggie has to be the most insufferable bunch of pussies of any other fanbase by far. Can't you morons enjoy the fact that the team you cheer for won a close game without trying to justify that you should have won by more?

False start and illegal shift penalties were no doubt evidence of cheating for Arkansas.

The only evidence in this thread is Texas A&M fans have a lot more in common w UT fans than they'd like to admit

If you win then you have no reason to complain but when you lose the bitching is expected. This is Tuesday the game is over and it is Alabama week. This is going to be rough on Saturday but I have no complaints because it is expected.

The hold called on our 2nd drive of the 2nd half around the Ark 20 was sketchy as frick. Negated a 9 yard run by Achane and killed our drive We ended up with a FG. Ags were marching in big chunks and offense was shoving it down Hogs throat.

Instead of 10 points on first 2 drives of 2nd half it should have been 14.

Because had offensive penalties been enforced against the Arkansas offense, like they were again the Ags, A&M would have won this game going away. That's why!

You can probably find holding on every play... though that one should have been called because it clearly had an impact on the play in question.

Now, be honest - did you look for any A&M players holding Arkansas players, or only examples that support your biases?

No. When the play starts, OL's hands are in a legal position. DL maneuvers his left arm under the OL's armpit and turns his body, making it look like a hold at the end. That's on the DL. The OL never once moved his left hand from the legal position it was in at the beginning of the play. The OL is not required to disengage his block which was legal at the start just because the DL squirms and voluntarily puts his arm under the OL's armpit.

From the rulebook:

"1. The hand(s) shall be:
(a) In advance of the elbow.
(b) Inside the frame of the opponent’s body (Exception: When the
opponent turns their back to the blocker)
"

In the OP's example, when the DL puts his arm under the OL's armpit, he ends with the back of his helmet in the OL's face. He is in effect turning his back when he did that.

The referees tried everything they could to give piggie a chance in that game but even that was not enough for an arky win.

What does it matter? a&m holds as much as any other team. Ya'll got lucky and won a game you shouldn't have won.

That's a 5 star true freshman being held by a redshirt Jr. Makes it that much sweeter. I saw several blatant no-call holding penalties that were stuck in the refs pockets

Oh well... maybe next year

You're just mad that Max was the winning QB. Don't blame you
