than uf vs tennessee rivalry of the 90s to 2001??? Numerous top ten finishes and national title aspirations on the line. Best rivalry of the 90s to 2001 when it came to sec football. Fun to watch. Salamanders vs cheddar cheese crackers

The 2001 UT/UF game is one of the 5 best SEC games I have ever watched. Those were two great teams playing their A game on the same day. That is rarely seen in college football.

Idk?
I didn't start watching football until 2008.

They were pretty good from 1998-2001, but the games really didn't end up being very competitive in the Peyton era from 1994-1997. Only one of those games was really close.
The atmosphere and the fact that it kind of signified that the big time football portion of the season was starting was the biggest draw.

Alabama vs Auburn past 10 years gets my vote

In fairness, neither is Florida/Tennessee. But that is not what the OP is calling for either. "Rivalry of competitive games" is exactly what Alabama/LSU was from 2007-2014. There was one blowout in there, but every other game in that time period came down to the wire, with 3 games going into OT.
Florida blew out Tennessee several times from 1991-2001. It's also not a true rivalry. It only became one because they were the two best teams in the east during that time, much like Alabama/LSU from 2007-2014.

Travis Stephens was a monster in that game. That guy ran so hard for someone who was 5'9" 190

Yea, I have a bias, but I can't imagine a better group of games to just sit back and watch than the Auburn-LSU games of the early/mid 2000s into the Alabama-LSU games on the late 2000s/early 2010s.
