You have to forgive them for not knowing that you never forget the feeling of a spectacular season. As time goes on the memories start to fade, but all one has to do in the rough times is go to youtube and watch some plays from the magical season and the feelings return. I can watch a vhs tape of the 93 SugarBowl, and remember clearly what is was like to take down the Miami media darlings. Good times. I imagine a similar feeling for LSU fans after taking down Bama.

Still mad about yet another arse kicking? Good thing we play you earlier in the season now...you'll know much sooner how bad you suck.

The dream national title season followed by the rapid descent to a sub-.500 program?
I have to say I’d probably take that deal, depending on how long the fallout lasted.
Absolutely.
If the 2020 season gets really bad, I can always just drink.

Hell, I just saw a clip of the 2007 fake field goal against South Carolina and got the warm fuzzies all over.

OK Dr. Von Braun. If you want to define a “program” by a 3 game sample size, knock yourself out.
I'm pretty sure it defines your team pretty damn well.

that vhs tape of the 93 SugarBowl got me through the Shula years.

No question. Not only would you take the deal, it every person here would take it if they’re being honest.
In fact, I’d take the deal every year. 15-0 one season and 0-15 the next.
The amount of sheer joy I experienced last season will keep me happy for at least another year.

Well, I hope we don't have to wait 14 years for some hope.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything
A zombie Curley Hallman could show up and he hires Les Miles strictly as a clock manager and I’m still taking it.

100% worth it.....and there is a price tag that comes with that fantastic ride......LSU is paying now. But have no fear Aggies....it will never happen in College Station.

Sure you do....You are only saying that because they are bad. I'm not a fair weather bandwagon kind of fan. I care, win or lose.

No
Maybe...who knows. There are a dozen or so teams that have been ranked by the experts. Two that really stick out are the 1971 and 1994 0r 1996 Nebraska teams. !971 Nebraska beat the #2, #3, #4, and I believe the number #5 teams that season and noone came within single digits.
