Was Aub the only team to have possession in the 4th quarter with a chance to overtake LSU?

Looking through boxscores, and I cant find another team with the opportunity to take over the lead in the 4th.

Even if they tied, LSU scored a td on the next possession.

If that's the case: way to go Auburn.

Also: go frick yourselves.

AU gave LSU the best game of the year. In the last 5 or so games, everyone’s best bet was being able to out score LSU. Didn’t work out so well when the defense came around swinging their dick to finish the year.

Sounds like Gus Malzoni needs a raise!

Trick question

Zero teams had a possession in the 4thQ with a chance to take the lead against LSU, including auburn.

UF could’ve taken the lead if they scored and went for 2. But Trask threw a pick.

The only reason the score was close in the game wasn't because of Auburn, but because of the extremely muddy and sloppy field conditions. As Auburn as a team, last season was pretty damn awful. At least relative to LSU.

I stand corrected

But my main point that auburn never had that opportunity remains true.

Trask didn't throw a pick. Stingley picked him off. That game was close cause Dave Aranda's defense sucked until Florida finally took the lead. Then and only then, after Ed O got on Aranda's arse, did he finally start pressuring Trask, and when he finally did, then Florida was unable to score again.

Meanwhile, on offense, LSU averaged 12 yards a play on a defense the Florida fans swore up and down would stop LSU cold. However, Florida's defense turned out to be the weakest defense LSU played all season.

It just goes to show you how far down Alabama sunk after they lost Tua. They weren't nearly the same team.

Nah, your DB rode our wide open WR and Trask threw it over the middle.

This is 100% a touchdown, LSU defender is beaten and takes a ride as he's dragged across the turf holding onto the receiver.

You guys deserved the win, but acting like this was some incredible play is unworthy lol. Trask likely thought there was a free play there because you can see how egregious it was.

There is literally a video of your DB riding our WR in the Red Zone in that Tweet. Look to the right, he is literally, both arms around the waist being dragged.
