Every other National Champion had to play in full stadiums
LSU lost to Arkansas at home in 2007
Sounds like a full Tiger Stadium must be a disadvantage for the home team. Yikes.

No ill will to Alabama or its fine fans! A great season for the Tide. Just not as great as every other national champion.

Probably, they didn't even lose to Kentucky or Arkansas
Also didn’t play Vandy or SCar.... how incomplete.

I guess we should apologize for playing a 13 game season in a global pandemic. I’m sorry we didn’t get to play four non conference games against shite opponents to. We’ll just have to live with having played 11 straight SEC teams and two of the top 5 historical programs.
I’ll turn in my National Championship T-shirt as soon as possible.

Wait, except they tried that this year and were down 42-14 at halftime.
Running out of options

I hate to see folks get emotional but I was looking forward to a straightforward discussion about a particular issue. Please refrain from further attacks on my alma mater.

Probably. Losing to two teams that finished the season unranked makes for a very undeserving champion.

Your alma mater, unfortunately, has the worst national champion of all time, as they lost 2 games and 1 of them being at home (doubly bad as they had home supporters in the stands and still lost, a major issue when compared to a team who had no fans to help them during home games).
It seems to be making you emotional, and for that we apologize, but facts matter.

1941 is still way worse.

2007 LSU is the only 2-loss champion in my lifetime so they’re undoubtedly the worst champion I’ve ever seen. They lost to fricking Kentucky!
That is 1942 Alabama levels of fraudulentness.

I get it SoG, but they did score..... just trying to give something positive... something to look forward to... some small amount of hope... something... anything... however fleeting...
