Was Alabama the worst national champion of all time?

Every other National Champion had to play against teams at full-strength, in full stadiums, with full rosters, against teams that played full schedules, with a full year to practice.

Objectively the worst national champion of all-time Hard to see it any other way.

Probably not. I put it at least top 15 of Alabama's national championship teams.

How would you ranked LSU's top 15 football national championships?

You might as well have just said "They are the only ones to win the national championship during a pandemic so nah"

Unless I've missed where other past national champs were given the same circumstances and an all-SEC schedule
