Walker Kessler records his 11th double-double w/ 3+ blocks this season. That’s third most in the NBA and more than twice as many as all other rookies combined. It’s his ninth 3+ block double-double with 70%+ shooting, passing Shaq for most such games by any rookie in NBA history.

Jabari Smith Jr has also been on a tear recently, last week he became the first teenager in NBA history to record 3 straight games with 20 points and 10 rebounds

And they’ve both made game winning plays at the buzzer for their teams in the last couple of days. Kessler last night with a block to seal a 19 point comeback over the Celtics, and Jabari on Friday night with an absolutely beautiful 3 to beat the Pelicans by 2

Imagine getting bounced in the SEC Tournament and not making it past the Round of 32 in the NCAAt with Walker Kessler and Jabari Smith on the same roster.

That was pretty bad. Terrible guard play and the worst game of Kessler’s Auburn career

But they still shite all over the SEC

Yeah, all that NBA talent on his Final Four run

Winning an NCAAT game at all with this year’s roster proves your statement wrong.

And that’s comical coming from an LSU fan, the school that missed the postseason completely with the #1 overall draft

And couldn’t make it past the 2nd round in 3 years of Shaq, getting bounced in the first round twice he had at least 1 other 1st round pick with him every season

This is a sad post. It must be sad to not have rafters that look like this:

UK, feel free to post some of Rupp to give them an even better idea.

P.S. I won’t talk any baseball smack because it’s too early in the season and y’all played in Baum, which is almost a guaranteed L. But I make no promises on behalf of other Razorback Fans.

“transfer find” sounds like he was one of these obscure small school guys that Bruce digs up, like Walker wasn’t one of the most highly sought after recruits in the country from UNC and didn’t almost sign with Bruce out of HS anyway as a 5* recruit

Thanks for reminding us that Auburn couldn't get out of the 2nd round with those bums. Kessler sucked so bad against Miami last year that he got benched.

“Bums” I guess the rest of the SEC was too since they were both 1st team All-SEC

Kessler won every single national DPOY award, and Jabari was only a consensus All-American and national FOTY

There are no bigger bandwagon fans in any sport than Bama fans, and they’re winning in basketball rn so they have basketball fans for now.

You remember how quiet they were in football before Saban. They’ll fade away again as Saban ages into 2000s Bowden/ Paterno territory, and the next few hires after are duds

Kessler is a stud, loved watching him play last year at Auburn.

It’s not that I don’t like Kessler , it’s just that that stat shocks me. I mean, that’s fricking legit. I expected him to be serviceable, but that’s outstanding.

He’s been more than serviceable. If the media hadn’t decided after the first month of the season that Banchero was ROY, then Kessler would be making a legit argument for it. He’ll be 1st team all rookie

He’s already one of the top shot blockers in the NBA, rookie or not
