This is why I don’t think we play a full season. All it takes is one school to shut it down, which screws up everyone’s schedule.

The article says 600+ cases on campus...not a whole lot
compared to Tuscaloosa or Athens and I still don't see
the postponement doing much if they don't allow any fans or students at the game

And that’s 600 cases since Aug. 3rd.

At this point I’m just wondering who it is that just looking for a reason to cancel/postpone a football game.

Still haven’t heard about a college athlete having to spend serious time in a hospital due to covid.

When I was in college meningitis was going around. I’m pretty sure that is a lot more serious than covid, and not one bar was closed, athletic event postponed or social event canceled.

There are going to be a bunch of oddball records at the end of the year with cancelations. CfP Committee is going to have to earn its money. Can't wait for a 7-0 Bama or LSU to sneak in the playoffs over a 10-0 Grp of 5 or 2 loss Big 12 champ

This is stupid but the state of Virginia is eaten up with kooks at the moment so I guess not surprising. Another thing I don't get is why are they playing each other first instead of the last week of the season as usual?

This is it. Northam is a joke. The Northern VA controls the voting in our state and it's full of liberals. Add Hampton/Norfolk/Richmond/tri cities and it's hard not to be liberal leaning as a state.

When you question why teams are postponing games or have to play without fans, look at the governor and you'll have your answer.

Not that strange when you think about who their governor is. Ole Blackface Northam, he’s a top 5 libtard governor

Everything seems like fabricated numbers

I get that their governor is a whacko but do we know he was behind it?

His death had nothing to do with participating in athletics or being an athlete.

Are you legitimately playing some gotcha game here?
