Hard to believe they had leads late in all four of their losses, including at Bama in 2015. That could've easily been an playoff team (with Butch Jones!)

Yeah man, Tennessee has sucked royally ever since phat Phil retired as their head coach. They have struggled ever since. I actually think Pruitt may get them back to respectability though honestly. He has proven he can recruit pretty well, now we have to see if he can coach them up to be competitive again.

Tennessee had issues long before they decided to fire Fulmer. Organizations that stagnate on the exact same way of doing things don’t even realize when they’re slowly falling apart. Nebraska was in the same category.

Yeah you're right. I just was remembering when we played Tennessee in the 2007 sec title game and forgot about the season after. Either way, Phil was the best that Tennessee has had since majors and neyland and they haven't recovered or been back to that level of ball since. Seems like I would have kept Fulmer if I was ut knowing what we know now right?

He should’ve been fired sooner but when they did fire him they did it so badly. And I’m still not sure Lane Kiffin was a good replacement by any standards.

Should have been fired after 05. Program was on a steady decline after Cutcliffe left and then he put a band aid on the offense in 06 and 07 before things totally bottomed our when he left again.

Job would have been more attractive in 05.

Kiffin wasn’t a great hire when Patterson and others have said they wanted the job, but I think it would have worked out pretty well if he hadn’t bolted after year one.

I told the Tennessee fans there’d be a severe reckoning for Fulmer’s treacherous behavior. But even I didn’t think the reckoning would be that atrocious.

I mean we've beaten top 10 opponents in that time frame. It's not our fault they couldn't keep their ranking.

A top 10 team is one who is good enough to finish in the top 10.

Losing to the likes of Tennessee is probably why they lost the ranking.

Change the Colors on that Graphic to Black & Gold and that's the kind of performance you'd expect from Vandy

For all the Idiots tennessee Recruits that run into Legal Trouble, one would expect them to have a better W-L Record
