It appears VOLS will be wearing them this weekend against South Carolina but that makes no sense with it being a noon kick
Busting them out next weekend with it being a night kick and Kiffin’s return seems like the far superior option imo

I like them besides the 2 different colored leg business. And the helmets- make them more black too. But then again I always kinda dig black unis.

They couldn’t get black helmets in time due to supply, which would’ve been sharp.
I was at every home game from 1998-2013, one of the five loudest times I’ve heard Neyland was when they came out of the tunnel in those black tops against South Carolina. I thought it was genius. Definitely better than the Smokey grays. These are pretty sharp.
I know we will have a bunch of blue hairs raising hell about it though. It is what it is. “We’re ORNGE N WHYTT DAMIT!!” I can hear it now.

I don’t get wearing three socks on one leg and one on the other but it’s ok

Yeah, these seem super dumb for a noon kickoff against a double-digit underdog. Neyland would have been CRAZY if the Vols ran through the T in black jerseys at night against a Kiffin-led Top 15 squad.

Yeah these actually look far better than I expected. I dig the white helmet with the black facemask + black striping/outlines with these uniforms

Best alternate they've done. Still don't know why you'd want a black uniform, but if you are going to do one this as good as you can make it.

There's 4 different shades of orange between the helmet, jersey, and pants. And none of them are the kind you can sit with.
