Missouri will also be playing to solidify its claim on "State Champions of Tennessee" after wins vs Vanderbilt and the Flagship institution of Tennessee, UT Martin.

One of those losses can be credited to Derek Dooley, who settled for field goals with an NFL offense at his disposal.

Did a Butch team ever rush for less than 27 yards against a team like Charlotte?

Did a Jeremy Pruitt team get held without a first down for the entire second half against a team like Kentucky?

No, but Butch did lose 9 straight SEC games, needed OT to beat Appalachian State, squeaked by with an 11 point win at home to Ohio, and only beat 4-8 UMass by 3 at home. Let's not pretend like Pruitt hasn't been playing with the mess he inherited from Butch.

Not defending Butch, just trying to understand how the 26 yard stat happened. Haven't really formed opinion on Pruitt other than his eyebrows are weird looking.

UGA has already claimed the title...

Austin Peay 45-0
Middle Tenn 49-7
U Tenn 38-12
Vandy 41-13

4-0...173-32 advantage in scoring and 3 of 4 are FBS teams...

Tennessee has a terrible OL and their only good OL, Trey Smith, probably had a career ending blood clot medical issue. And they only have one decent back in Chandler. Naturally, I'm sure they expected more than 26 yards rushing against Charlotte, but if you'd watched any of Ut's games, it's been a problem all year. They're last in the conference by a considerable margin in rushing offense and yards per carry this season. They only had 31 yards against Alabama, 66 against UGA, and 68 against Auburn.

VOLS had 215 rushing yards against UK Saturday.

Mizzou could only manage 83 against the same D.
