It was a big coup according to you guys? Still happy?

Fulmer just got tired of being the fattest guy in the AD.

"Big bank take little bank" or whatever their fat TE coach said after they "stole" Chaney from us.

I still find it funny that Georgia is posting about the 0-2 VOLS.

Not as funny as everyone finds it that the Vols are 0-2

Watching both of their games I am betting that Chaney is limited to what he can call due to a very inept QB.

JG is the worst QB in the country. No OC could do well with him.

you don't get out of this that easily. We've heard for a year now that yall "stole" chaney from us and how big of a win that was for you. We tried to tell you about the unimaginitive playcalling, not playing to your strengths, continuously runnign plays that don't work, constantly running straight into a stacked box on 3rd and short, calling head scratching reverse type plays behind the LOS on short yardage, etc. All of those are still the exact same problems he's had since he was here but yall didn't want to accept it.

Is he limited in his ability to help said QB be better?

Better question would be if uga fans feel like having fromm at QB instead of fields or eason is a win ?

chaney's offense was essentially the exact same all 3 years here regardless of personnel. In 2016 we had greyson lambert and a TFr, we had a pretty lously OL, our leading receiver was 5'8", and an entirely new defense system. He called the exact same kind of plays then he did in 17/18, the only difference is we were much more talented those years so the plays worked more often. I assure you even if trevor lawrence was UT's qb the playcalling would be the same.

Yes absolutely. Fields and Eason are both talented and will do well. None of that takes away from Fromm being an excellent QB. Let’s see how all do when actually challenged.

The better question is does Chaney feel like that was a good move?
I bet he was up in the box about to puke on Saturday.

He got paid more, so I’m sure he does

He's been there less than a year. Guarantano is a terrible QB but to be a little empathetic to him, I believe Chaney is his 3rd or 4th OC ,not sure but think that's what I heard.

Chaney is the absolute least of our problems. If we had even an average SEC QB, we would've scored 35+ against BYU Saturdee.
He's put our talented players in a position to make plays, but when you have a 4th year QB that cannot get past his first read before hitting a checkdown, there is realistically only so much you can do offensively.

And the offense has worked fine so far. We ran for nearly 250 Saturday with a horrid O Line, and had receivers open nearly every time JG dropped back to pass.
We just have horrid QB play, and I'm not sure Chaney expected this when he inherited a QB that's in his 4th year on campus.

Has UT tried to recruit over Geronimo or whatever his name is?
