Given they're the best handicappers on earth - Tennessee loses by 10 or more.

Probably a big majority of the bets but doesn't mean the majority of the money

If someone gambles a lot, they are wrong a lot.
If someone makes a lot of predictions, they are wrong a lot.

But when big money is on the line, being right 55-60% of the time will build you multiple casinos and hotels.

As a Georgia fan this is the most encouraging and reassuring Rant post that I've read all week and suddenly I feel better.

80 something percent of the money is on Tennessee but the line hasn't moved more than a point. I sure as frick hope Vegas is right.

Because it would be moronic based on where the line started at 2 TDs. You could double dip and they’d be out even more if UGA won by 7-10ish.

More individual bets have been made on Tennessee but more money has been bet on UGA - the "smart" money.

I saw a link that the vast majority of bets and money are on Tennessee (right now).

The whales are waiting for the line to drop so they can grab Georgia.
OR
Vegas is playing the bet against what they perceive to be a misinformed, emotional majority.

I saw lines at 12 and 10 about 3 weeks ago.

I've read that the casino lines opened at 8.5.

Why would Vegas drop it below a key number and open themselves up for more risk? They don’t want a big window.

Caesars started at 13.5 but got a promo bonus to get it to 14.

The concept of "even money" would dictate lowering the line.

The "fear of being wrong" would dictate lowering the line.

Obviously, Vegas isn't playing for even money. And they aren't scared of losing their shirts.

Georgia's defense can be nasty good when they want to bring the wood. It's an interesting matchup , I think it's going to be a close game.

Vegas does not want those who got UT at +13.5 also taking UGA at less than -7.
