Vandy loses Rogers and has to break in a new QB. Who is the poor soul who will be getting the starting nod? He's going to be tested very early with Ole Miss coming to town for the first game of the season.

Also, who's going to be getting majority of carries at RB?

Carta Samuels will be a SR and served as their top reserve QB this past year. He is a transfer out of Univ. of Wyoming.

Forgot about him. OM recruited him pretty hard...

I remember him being decent at Wyoming. Did Vandy also recruit his brother or something?

Same did Auburn but he really loved Vandy. He'll be a great back for them. Rushed for 475 yards or so this season as a true frosh behind Stacy.

I looked him up. I didn't realize he had gotten a season in at Wyoming. He's a big kid at 6'1'' 220.

I hope he's fricking ready.

I'm sure he'll be plenty ready to humiliate Ole Miss just the same as our other quarterbacks in recent memory.

The real question is what does the returning OL look like?

Look for Wesley Tate to get his share of carries at RB as well. I like ACS starting next year. He's just as mobile as Rogers with a bigger frame and arm.

bigger frame

should come in handy considering the hits he'll be taking...

It will either be ACS or maybe Patton Robinette. Everything I've heard about Robinette is that he's ready to start and play as soon as he gets here, but ACS is talented and has the game experience. ACS will likely start and maybe will lose playing time as the season goes on. Who knows?

Watching video from this guy, Ole Miss should worry about Vandy in the first game of the season. He's not as polished as Rogers but he is a good QB. He's very capeable of running the offense and he will help Vandy turn in another winning season.

I'm not sure about their o-line yet but Vandy will put points on the board if they give this guy time. Google him, you wont regret it.

That's the kicker. I don't think Vandy will be able to block the OM front 4.

Vandy will have its best O-line ever (which, granted, is not saying all that much). We only lost one guy (Seymour), and we had a huge O-line recruit class last year. Almost every one of them redshirted and have picked up mass over the year. They promise to be very good.
