Lucky you didn’t have to use all of your notebook on Arkansas.

Rocker vs JT Ginn should be a good pitching matchup

Just beat them and laugh at the Whistler

I highly doubt it will be Ginn. Plumlee has made a strong comeback and is pitching well. My guess is Plumlee on Tuesday.

Looking forward to it, two very good teams.

I think Vanderbilt has to be the heavy favorites to win the national title. I believe MSU is the second best team left, but hard to see them beating the Dores twice.

They are so good. Filthy good.
I'm not going to beat the dead (for now) horse and ad nauseam regarding Vandy's very unfair advantage with scholarships, but even with that being the case, they are a monstrous group. Even with that narrative being a pertinent one, it doesn't take away from what those guys have accomplished and the manner in which they've done it thus far. They've succeeded, and I for one won't try to nullify the fact that they deserve the spoils of war.
Even though the fat lady ain't sung yet, one of these days (Maybe within the next few days?) the Diamond Dogs are gonna bring one home.
If they could wrap one in maroon and white before a couple of old cats who raised me die, it'd be a day I remember until the day I'll remember no more.
BUT...today we live to fight for another one. Congrats to Vandy, and Hail State!

Maybe I think it’s unfair that State has a mini major league stadium to play in and thousands upon thousands of fans. Maybe it’s unfair that big state universities have virtually unlimited money for facilities. You can keep beating the dead horse, but I’ll continue saying it; ANY other school that wants to can do what Vanderbilt does with financial aid. It’s not illegal and anyone can do it, so how is it unfair?

And it essentially just levels the financial playing field. Sorry that baseball players are smart enough to value the Vanderbilt education...and that Tim Corbin is one of the best coaches in America.

Very unfair that the State of Mississippi subsidizes tuition to the tune of $73 million in general support appropriations.

Save it, man.
I couldn't imagine winning that game and caring one iota about what a Vandy fan has to say about it.
Unless...well unless there's something to worry about?
If it weren't an issue there wouldn't be a narrative, nor would there be sides to take, but the fact that there are sides to take in the matter is proof enough that a problem of sorts does exist.
To negate that truth is idiocy, and it is dangerous for folks like you and who take the side that you do, and for the furtherance of the agenda that you all want to see continue.
Do we argue that too many fans are an unfair advantage? That the orientation of a park is an unfair advantage? That the sun really does rise in the morning? Do we contest the issue to the point where folks have to chose sides on it?
No, we do not.
If you think a bumchit broke arse state like Mississippi has "UnLiMiTeD fUnDs" then I question whether or not you're a Vandy alumni. (Aren't you all "smart"?)
I've chosen my side of the argument and so have you.
In no way will I use my thoughts on the matter against the guys on that ballteam: They deserve what they worked for, and they did what was best for them and their future.
So again, enjoy your victory; yall are the team to beat and only a fool would've doubted that. If we don't win it then I hope yall do, and for many reasons other than SEC affiliation.
Cheers.

I mean, you could say that it levels the playing field, but the truth is that the field isn’t nearly level. It’s heavily slanted towards the big state schools and always will be.
Like I said, what Vanderbilt does with financial aid is completely legal and any school that wants to can do it. It’s really that simple. It’s in no way unfair because ANY school can do it. That’s literally the opposite of unfair.
