How many of you on here pick Washington to win? I want to hear from that side, I don't like everyone picking Bama to win big.

Nobody realistically thinks Washington will win. The talent gap is outrageous in favor of bama.

People says Washington has a chance just to give themselves something to talk about..

No one except Corso thinks UW can win.

Not as bad as you'd think. Perhaps from a depth perspective, but the majority of their starters would be in the rotation at Alabama, according to NFL scouting experts.

It will either be real close with both defenses being stagnant or bama beats them bad like they did to ND.

Well I know this that Washington has had zero 5* players, 12 4* players and the rest are 3* and below, in the 4 years. Bama had nineteen 4* players last year alone. So if you want to tell me there's not a huge talent gap then I can't really take anything you say serious.

My head is telling me it will be a Michigan State type game but my gut is telling me to pump the brakes.

Starter to starter it's not though. Washington has a good shot at winning this. I've been pretty nervous about this game. They have a very good defense and we have been crap on offense since after the Mississippi state game.

Just comparing 4 star players, not even putting all of the five star players. Bama has 70 4* players in the last 4 recruiting classes Washington has 12. I don't know why this is even up for consideration unless we are saying that washinton's coaching staff is just way better at developing players, which would be wrong.

Who cares about stars? That only matters in recruiting.

This is December. You're either good or your not, stars are trash

And as long as your reading comprehension is that bad, I can't really take anything you say seriously. I simply stated the gap isn't as wide as you'd think. Washington has top end talent on both sides of the ball - based on NFL scouting evaluations, which certainly supersede star ratings. Bama'a depth is where the biggest talent gap is. Washington has NFL talent all over the place in their starting 22. Bama had NFL talent throughout their 3 deep.

According to Phil Savage, this year's Washington team and last year's Clemson team have about the same number of players who would be in the rotation at Bama - somewhere around 15 players. For comparison, Notre Dame's 2012 team had only 7 players that would have been in our rotation.

Washington will either way blown out or it will be close until Bama pulls away with far superior depth

Stars matter when the coaching staff develops those talents. Bama coaches do a good job at this, kind of goes with my argument.

Bama should win because they have Saban. But don't act like Washington and Petersen are a bunch of scrubs.

Bama will have to fight

This would make a huge talent gap, which is what I'm trying to say. Bama's backups start on most teams in the country.

But the matchups within each team's starting 22 are a lot tighter than many are assuming. That's all I'm saying. It's not like Bama is facing some scrub team. They're very, very talented.
