We pitched a guy that has never started a game for UT. They had no motivation to win. aTm needed that game, but UT was going to be a #2 seed no matter what.

Fair enough that A&M needed the win more. That’s true.

Two years ago we were hitting off a Tee and run ruled Miss State in the tournament. They went on to win the natty.
Losing one close game to a good team, isn’t a big deal. We just gotta beat the 3 teams in our regional.

UT was top 20 in RPI and has 16 Q1 wins (good for top 10). squarely in the host discussion, they had everything to play for

Potentially hosting is incredible motivation. You were not far outside of that host spot. This reeks of losing 63-38 to SC and claiming "one defensive player decide to start a locker room issue and thats why we lost"
