What kind of raise is he getting? He was only making like 750k right?

How big do you think the raise will be? How much do you think A&M will offer?

I think its weird so adamant fans are that their coaches will not leave. It happens all the time at every school.

I think it is weird that he would be a serious candidate for a DC job at Texas A&M.

He is very inexperienced to make the jump to that level that quickly.

Of course it could happen. If it does, I'd think it would be more because of his recruiting ability.

...plus the fact that our writers and reporters haven't said anything about this.

He is currently at $750k but rumors are he's about to get bumped up to over a million.

A&M is letting go of a guy who made 1.6 M last year. I think A&M could come in at 1.75 - 2 million with multiple years guaranteed. I don't think getting bumped up over a million will be enough to keep him if push comes to shove.

Edit: right now Muschamp is making 3 million per (based on a quick google search). I cannot see USC matching anything close to 1.6 (over 50% of the HC).

Damn! Aggie paid him a lot for almost nothing. Any word on who he is reaching out to ? I'd like to keep him in the SECW if we can.

If A&M offers 1.6 million for an assistant in his 30s with 2 years of defensive coordinator experience (maybe that should have an asterisk because it is a DC under Muschamp), then that is a serious case of overspending.

T-Rob is a crucial piece of this staff, but he is nowhere near 1.6 million good at this time.

I could certainly be wrong but I don't think the $$ will be a deciding factor. I don't think y'all get how loyal he and Muschamp are to each other. It's like they're Siamese twins or some shite.

Over 3 years he made 1.55 per. LSU offered him 3 years, 1.8 per. Yall wanted to pay him more.

you have to think of the credibility of the source. A simple google search of the words "travaris robinson and Texas A&M" will tell you all you need to know.

1) we're talking about it on tRant.
2) there was speculation about him when Jimbo was hired.

thats about it.

Then take your blinders off.

We can pay whatever the market bears. Money is not an issue. mUSChamp and his entire staff are about to get a raise.

When mUSChamp came here he had something to prove. He pulled a lot of his loyal guys with him from Auburn. T-Rob and Boom are very very close. Boom gave T-Rob his leg-up. T-Rob is not going to uproot his family, move his Mother, betray mUSChamp ... over a couple of hundred thousand dollars to move to College Station, Texas. He likes it here just fine.

If he moves then it's because of a boat load more money. It would have to be a silly amount more than SC would be willing to pay.

Yeah, I'm not really worried about losing T-Rob. He's not going anywhere. Not now, anyway.

Romance Lance could head to the Vols, tho. He may have run thru all the strange in Cola and requires a fresh set of 'downs' to work with.

Can you put a cost on winning a national title? building a team to be in the playoffs regularly? I am sure there is one and we're about to go to the max to find it. We're gunna New York Yankees everyone and set a new market.

I hope you're right. I liked the Tucker & Grinch rumors better.

That's putting it mildly. At least I got a follow back from him. Progress.

I believe both of those names have officially been taken off of the board.

Put me in the Travaris Robinson is far too risky a hire camp.
Really hoping Fisher has cast his net elsewhere (again, that’s zero shot at SC), though it sounds like Robinson is happy with Muschamp, regardless.
