All they had to do was send him the SoCal weather forecast for the next 4-5 months vs. Norman's

There isn't really much you have to do to sell the Southern Cal job.. it's in fricking LA. You either want that type of spotlight or you don't.

Hahaha no we did not. An offer would only be made if he accepted, this not Alleva. Actually, everyone was assuming that because LSU was the better job. No one thought Riley was a low-T guy that wanted nothing to do with the SEC.

If he's moving to California, he'll be relocating to Austin within a year or two.

We almost did in 2015 but Ray Tanner thought he wasn’t experienced enough

I’m weird I know but no thanks to living in LA for me. I’d rather live in any southern state or basically any state other than Cali. I don’t hate Cali as a whole but I do not want to live there. Granted, I haven’t been offered a multi million dollar job there but I don’t find the area alluring like some do.

Are you a South Carolina fan? (Hint: look at the thread title.)

Come on OP, you know better...

They sold him on no pressure pac10 and no requirements to win much, and socal weather. This would be an easy decision for any coach just looking for good pay. He wanted that.

Im not sure about that, everything coming out is that Riley wanted absolutely no part of the SEC.

Evidence is there, he is running away from the SEC as fast as he can.

Dude wanted no part of this smoke.

THe two games right after USC fires Helton , Riley’s offense scored in the mid teens....

This is most likely when USC contacted Riley, right after firing Helton, also Riley got interested in recruiting LA this year.....

I don't believe this report at all.

If USC decided to hire Riley on a spur of the moment thing Saturday night then what have they been doing this whole time?

They fired Clay Helton like the second week of the season.

Riley has been recruiting Southern California like crazy this year.

Also had apparently already decided which members of his OU staff were going and they all supposedly went from staying in Norman to moving across the country in a matter of like 12 hours.

No way.
